What "not yet" means on your report
If a check isn't yet available in your municipality, your report will show "Not published by this municipality." for that line, with the same source list we would use if we could. We don't guess; we only report what records show.
Coverage goes up as we load more city layers. The counts on this page reflect only what's in the project's main branch today; city-specific loaders being developed on separate branches will raise the numbers above when they land. We'll update this page in the same change.
Checks that run everywhere in Ontario
These come from Ontario, federal and Statistics Canada open data. If your home is in Ontario, your report will carry these lines no matter which municipality you're in.
- Water and floodingPast floods seen by satellite (NRCan); creeks, rivers, lakes and ponds (Ontario Hydro Network); wetlands (Ontario).
- Land, soil and environmentSoil survey; past land use nearby (aggregate sites, petroleum wells, waste management sites, federal contaminated sites); pollutant release facilities (NPRI); Greenbelt, Oak Ridges Moraine and Niagara Escarpment; Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest; forest fires.
- What's changing nearbyPipelines, power lines and rail: Transport Canada grade crossings, Ontario Railway Network, Ontario Utility Line.
